【Beginning】
Modi and Magni went through a lot of suffering in order to finally pass the glacier trial. With Heimdallr as a witness, they inherited Thor’s hammer “Mjölnir” and armor. The king took the priest’s proposal and make the pilgrimage a competition for the throne succession—whomever receives Thor’s Relics shall ascend to the throne. Unexpectedly, the relics were brought back by both Modi and Magni.
Upon arriving at their kingdom, the brothers immediately explained the whole story, but the king replied…
- Magni: Father, the guardian of Asgard has approved both Modi and I…
- King: Two kings, one kingdom? No way! I don’t care if he’s the guardian or whatever.
- King: I order both of you: battle with the Relics now and the winner shall be the next king!
- Modi: Father! I'm willing to let Magni succeed the throne, so…
- Priest: Didn’t you hear the king’s order? Battle now!
- Modi: ”Father looks strange and he has never acted this way before...What happened?”
- Magni: ”There’s something off about the priest. I’ll try testing him first...”
- Magni: Father, as a matter of fact, neither Modi nor I found Asgard, so these Relics are all…
- Priest: Your Majesty, Modi and Magni have deceived you. I think you should take the Relics and kill them.
- King: Right! Guards! Kill them!
- Modi: What?
- Magni: Modi, something’s wrong with our father! Get the Relics!
With the king’s order, soldiers dashed towards Modi and Magni and encircled them. The brothers immediately picked up the Relics. The hammer and the shield were shining. Upon seeing the shining Relics, the priest lifted his stick, hit the brothers and tried to grab the Relics…

- Priest: How dare you fight back! Give me the Relics!
- Magni: What have you done to our father?
Magni noticed there was something different in expression, tone, and reaction about the king, knowing for a fact that the king loved the brothers and even shed tears when they left for their pilgrimage competition...Something must had happened or the king would not have changed overnight! At that moment, the king stood still and stiff, his face resembling a dead fish.
- Priest: Oh, the magic is gone. I meant to sustain his life a bit longer…
- Priest: No, I poisoned him to death a long time ago. How could he revive? Haha!
- Fulminating Sovereigns - Modi & Magni: Let’s take revenge for our father!
The borthers gahtered all their strength. Magni took the shield and advanced, covering Modi, while Modi raised the hammer and smashed off the priest's head. The priest immediately grabbed onto the brothers’ hands that held the relics, however, the relics suddenly energized with lightening. The Priest, who touched the Relics, was immediately struck by lightning and died. After he died, his body became a puff of black smoke, covering the Relics…
Modi and Magni waved the black smoke away. After the smoke dispersed, the two Relics were in ruins…
