【Beginning】
Jack drifted through the realm. Since the day he consumed those souls, a powerful force had been battering at his brain. It had fragmented and confused his memory. All he knew was that his name was Jack, and he remembered that ice-cold beauty, with long blue hair.
Jack followed his fragmented memories and went to Holylight City. There, he recalled how he felt when he murdered. He had thought it was so beautiful. Yet, when he plunged his knife into the person standing before him, he no longer felt that same joy. Instead, it was quite boring. He threw the corpse aside and continued roaming aimlessly across the street. Suddenly, an ice-cold body bumped up against him. Looking down at her, he grabbed her around the waist...
- Death Artist Jack: Is that you?
A helpless shrug came to Lisa.^ This was nothing major, since Agensi and Gretchen were not at the fort; only the dull Mark and annoying Midgley was there. Lisa had not wanted to speak to them, and so, she had gone for a walk to clear her mind in Holylight City. Yet, she accidentally bumped into a man. Furthermore, that man now had his arm wrapped around her, and heard that man asked if that was her.
- Cyborg Craftsmen - Lisa: Sir, you have the wrong person. I don’t know you.
- Death Artist Jack: But blue hair, and an ice-cold body...
Jack was reaching for her face when Lisa reached back to slap him. He evaded quickly in the nick of time. Confused, he looked upon Lisa’s wrathful face. He did not know that that she despised having her body described as such. Jack’s words had hit her right on her sore point.
【Before Battles】
- Cyborg Craftsmen - Lisa: Die!
- Death Artist Jack: Wait...
【Enemy Dialog】
- Cyborg Craftsmen - Lisa: Pinocchio!
【End】
- Pugnacious Puppet Pinocchio: Master Lisa, insufficient energy. We must disassemble.
Shocked, she instantly separated from Pinocchio. Losing her balance, Lisa fell forward but pain did not come. It was as if something supported her. She opened her eyes only to see that she had fallen into the man’s embrace again.
- Death Artist Jack: Ice-cold bodies are my favorite.
Upon hearing “my favorite”, Lisa’s face and ear blushed red. No one had ever spoken to her like that. She felt warmth surging into her face...
- Cyborg Craftsmen - Lisa: You... how could you... be such a scoundrel...
Jack opened his grasp and allowed Lisa to leave his embrace. For some reason, Lisa actually kind of felt sad. Jack looked at Lisa; his instincts told him that this was not the person from his memory. Yet, out of a gentlemen's spirit, he introduced himself.
- Death Artist Jack: My fair lady, please, tell me your name!
- Cyborg Craftsmen - Lisa: Lisa... Lisa Bufano.
Such familiar dialog, such a familiar embrace; yet, this was not the familiar person from his memory...
