【Beginning】
Vanir would separate boys and girls from each other ever since they were little children. They would not only accept different kinds of education, but also live in different places. Freyja was sent to learn sorcery, while her brother was trained to be a warrior. This was not only the first time that Freyja left her brother’s side, but also her first time staying in an unfamiliar environment alone. Before that, their childhood had been spent, hand in hand, as inseparable companions in the land of Gods.
Winter was approaching. When the land was covered with frost, men and women of Vanir would go home to spend the Winter time together. This year, Freyja would soon finish her training in sorcery and then take up a position in the great hall of Valhalla, while her brother would embark on a journey of battles. They would be separated forever.
In Freyja’s mind, the past memories of laughing and playing with Freyr kept reappearing. She was hoping that Winter could come as soon as possible in the sorcery school. She had heard that her brother was working hard to prepare for a duel, a duel that would probably take her brother away from her.
- Freyr, Victorious Deity of the Sea: With the Sword of Victory, I’ll surely defeat the representative of Aesir.
- Freyja, Fair Deity of Love: What if you lose?
- Freyr, Victorious Deity of the Sea: I’ve made a vow. If I lose, I’ll leave the tribe.
- Freyr, Victorious Deity of the Sea: But this will definitely not happen.
One evening, during the changing of the guards, Freyja seized the chance to slip into the storehouse of weapons.
【Before Battles】
- Freyja, Fair Deity of Love: I must knock the guards unconscious without being noticed by anyone.
【Enemy Dialog】
- Freyja, Fair Deity of Love: The Sword of Victory! I just need to hide it, then brother will...
【End】
After being defeated in the duel with Thor, the representative of Aesir, Freyr kept his vow to leave Vanir. He prepared a ship to sail to the land of Aesir. When he was ready to set off and arrived at the shore, he saw Freyja, who was carrying a bag on her back and waiting for him. As Freyr reached to take her bag, he knocked off the cloth covering her package, which slid to the floor along the curves of her body. It was his lost Sword of Victory.
