【Beginning】
- Freyja, Fair Deity of Love: Will Odin accept us?
- Freyr: We go to the North for fighting against the Demons,
- Freyr: not for joining the force of Odin.
- Freyja, Fair Deity of Love: But you can’t be living in the home of others forever.
Freyr lost in the duel with Thor. According to his own oath, Vanir must send him into exile, which left him with no choice but to go over to Aesir. In Vanir, he was the strongest warrior of the tribe, while his sister, Freyja, was young but already skilled in sorcery. They should be the best duo in Vanir in the fight against Demons.
Freyja knew how to make her brother lose in the duel, and anticipated that she could embark on a new journey with him after he was defeated. She was so well-prepared that she had packed her things long time ago. She even ‘retrieved’ the Sword of Victory for him. She decided to follow her brother to anywhere, even to the ends of the earth. As she planned, they were now sailing on a ship towards the land of Aesir, yet her feelings were trapped in a dilemma..
【Before Battles】
- Freyja, Fair Deity of Love: Where do these monsters come from?
- Freyja, Fair Deity of Love: Maybe Odin doesn’t want you to arrive there alive.
- Freyja, Fair Deity of Love: Vanir and Aesir had long been sworn enemies for generations.
【Enemy Dialog】
- Freyja, Fair Deity of Love: Doesn’t he know there are monsters hiding in this waters?
- Freyr: Don’t think in this way, Freyja.
- Freyr: Demons and evil creatures are always our enemies, no matter where.
【End】
This was actually the plot of Freyja. Applying her sorcery, she summoned illusions to attack the ship at the shore-side, in order to force her brother to give up joining Aesir, so he would roam the battlefield with her forever. However, the result was not as she wished as Freyr's trust for Odin remained. Because of Freyja, he was defeated by Thor, leaving his heroic dream shattered. But this convinced him that only through battling could he regain his past glory.
Venting his grievance on the monsters, Freyr realized that only by winning victories could he have the worthiness to be accepted by others. Later on, when Freyja questioned the value of victory, he would answer that with victory, everything would become better..
