【Beginning】
After discovering that the direct contact with Ancestral Elements would drive the spiritual beasts into madness, Seth and the three Creators hid the Ancestral Elements back inside the shrine. They had also set up rules forbidding the entry of all spiritual beasts aside from the priestesses and the tribal chief. They thought that this was not only an effective way to protect the Ancestral Elements, but can also prevent harm from coming to the beasts.
But unexpectedly, the secret of the Ancestral Elements was still uncovered by people outside the tribe. A white cat wormed his way into the tribe “by accident”, and he even manipulated the priestess to discover the location of the Ancestral Elements.
When stealing the Ancestral Elements, the white cat had inadvertently dropped some pieces in the tribe. Through a series of unforeseen circumstances, the pieces of the Elements arrived at the hand of Spiritual Civilization’s tribal chief, leading to an irrevocable tragedy...
The pieces of the Ancestral Elements had awoken the frenzy factor of the tribal chief. He was soon deprived of his sanity, injuring and killing many in the tribe. As the power in his body resonated with the Ancestral Elements in the shrine, he walked into the shrine and gathered his power to attack Seth.
【Enemy Dialog】
- Seth: Mufasa, what’re you doing here?
- Seth: Mufasa, I am asking you!
【After Battles】
- Seth: Is it... frenzy factor?
【End】
Seth finally realized that Mufasa, like the first werelion who had come into direct contact with the Ancestral Elements, had lost his sanity due to the frenzy factor. Thus, he lowered his invisible barrier defense and allow Mufasa to attack before subduing Mufasa with a fiery red magic circle. The tribal chief was pinned to the ground, grunting in pain. At that moment, Shu, Ra and Tefnut returned to the shrine. Puzzled, they wanted to stop Seth...
- Tefnut: Seth, what’re you... Is something wrong with him?
- Seth: He has lost his sanity. This is the only way I can keep him under control!
- Shu: Are you saying, it is he who massacred the beasts in the village?
- Ra: Why do they have to suffer so horribly?
- Seth: What should we do with him?
- Tefnut: Let’s seal him up...
Then, the tribal chief suddenly regained his sanity. He realized his sin was too great, for he had slaughtered too many of his own. He found himself unforgivable and therefore, with his remaining consciousness, he begged the Gods to kill him. But the kind Tefnut did not have the heart to do so, so she used her godly power to hypnotize him. Seth, who had been watching them by the side, was surprised by the strength of Mufasa’s will needed to overcome his frenzy.
- Seth: ‘It seems that there is a link between the Ancestral Elements and the spiritual beasts that we have yet to understand...’
- Seth: ‘Perhaps they are the most suitable beings to integrate with the Ancestral Elements.’
Beside them, Seth silently looked on at Osiris taking away the soul of the tribal chief, as countless questions once again emerged in his heart...
