【Beginning】
- : Idun! Now we have suppressed the Demons.
- : Seize the moment and subdue the Dragon of Poison!
The chaos on the battlefield startled Idun. She had never been to the battlefront. The smell of blood and sweat nauseated her. However, when Idun was pushed to the face of the Dragon of Poison, she felt different. The trapped dragon rotted alone, its frightening roar reminiscent of a painful wail.
【After Battles】
- Soldiers: We did it!
- : Idun, the credit goes to you!
- : No. The credit goes to Angrboda.
- : ‘But no one remembers her.’
【End】
After Hel’s death, Idun kept her promise and continued to maintain the power of the golden apple. However, she no longer shared any of her fruit. She only stayed in the garden of Holylight City, playing with the animals.
Loki later broke the seal of the Dragon of Poison. Odin’s hasty seal was not perfect, so Idun had to feed the dragon in the tower when it woke up from time to time...
- : Sacrifice for the world? No. It is just there is no other thing worth doing.
Now, Idun could master her power. She granted the animals an immortal body so they could escort her to the tower.
Immortal life bored Idun. Sometimes, she would want to give up, letting the power of longevity consume herself. However, she had no way to transfer the power. Unable to bear abandoning the power of the golden apple, Idun could only live on. She was not happy, but she could not cry of sadness. People always asked her for blessing; the kindhearted Idun began to realize: she was merely an immortal servant for all.
